Double Woven Star

A few days ago I came home from school and saw the directions for this on Jude Hill's Cloth2Cloth2 class.  I had to drop everything and try this technique.  Here's my result, pinned down, but not quilted yet.  I love it so much that I think I'm afraid of ruining it by stitching on it!  LOL!

I've been playing a bit more since Sunday and have a few small filler weaving done too.  Those I've done some basting down on.  I'll post pictures of those soon!

Clever! That's very effective. I'm seeing all kinds of variations you could do with the double weaving technique... Look forward to seeing your stitches on this lovely piece.

Debi this looks great and I definitely think you are right, quilt them all first then join them together,. That way it won't seem as daunting.
