In case anyone is still keeping track of my blog, I thought I'd post a catch-up post. What have I been up to? My life is mostly consumed with going back to college. I'm working hard, going to school full-time to get my certificate for teaching and working with children ages 4-8 years old. I'm going as well this summer and have been reading (a LOT) writing (a LOT) and spending endless hours at the Library pouring over books. I'm taking a Children's Literature class, which is tasking me with reading a dozen different children's books a week! When I'm not doing my homework, I'm trying to sneak in some time doing some hand-stitching and embroidery work. Here's a preview of a piece in progress so you have an idea...
It's always nice to do some meditative stitching in the evening after everything essential is done for the day. Most evenings will see me doing this, sitting in front of the fan, with some music on. I don't seem to be much interested in TV this summer! More later...
HuGGs!

Hi Debi, your beast is wonderful...love those 'ears'. It's very peaceful to do a little stitching after a busy day isnt it? Put things back in perspective.
