A Gala Art Show!

It's been 2 weeks since I last posted on here even though I have posted over on Facebook. I've been so busy! I taught a two part journal making class this past week. It was a Blast! The people who came to the class were so much fun to work with and it seemed everyone had a wonderful time! On Tuesday night we spent 3 hours coloring, stamping, layering painting, patterning, texturizing paper! We had so much paper to play with. There was so much donated by the community in honor of Earth Day week.

Then on Thursday night we collated the pages and then bound them together in our journal. Then we did weaving between the signatures to hold them all together. We didn't completely finish and I hope everyone sends me a picture when they're all done so I have some photo's to OHHHH and AHHHHH over!

Then this week I helped get the local Gala Art show rolling! This has been one of the most fun events I've ever participated in. I've met so many wonderful people, some amazing artists, and I even sold some of my artwork! Couldn't have had a nicer weekend! And the show goes on for 3 more days!

After that I'm going to spend some serious time reorganizing my supplies and working on some beading and textile art. I've been itching to do some stitching and beading and I'm going to enjoy some sunshine and do some stitching!

Hope this is finding all of you well. I THINK maybe spring is finally here!
